introducing
the stylist series…

I’ve edited my live, virtual classes for professional stylists to make them available to you to rent for two weeks at a time. Every other month I’ll release a new class for rent, so that you can have an opportunity to learn all my tips and tricks.

This month I start out with my most fundamental class, Beginner Razor! Make sure you subscribe to my email list to be alerted of the next classes coming up… including the French Bob and the Curly Shag!

here are my current educational offerings for professional stylists…

  • Carving petals LA : Bobs & Bangs

I’m taking the Bob Class to LA! This will be a live razor demo, with cuts on two different models in-person in Los Angeles on December 3rd at the Feverfew Salon in Eaglecreek.

In this workshop we will explore all thing bobs and bangs (or no bangs!) French Bob? Italian Bob? Bixie? What's the difference? So many names for this classic cut. More details in the link below!

  • STYLISTS SERIES: BEGINNER RAZOR

In this online class how I’ll show you how to hold a razor and use it to cut a client’s hair and give them the soft layers and gorgeous curtain bangs that everyone has been asking for.

The cut for this class is a simple shag, but you’ll be learning the face framing and layering techniques that have become signature part of my style. You’ll have two weeks to view the class, and of course DM me with any questions

  • How to Hand Style Hair

Hand styling classes are incredible for stylists who want to give their client’s hair a finished look that is more natural-texture based, soft, and romantic, without fussing with a curling iron.

  • Join My Hairstory community

I switched to clean hair products when I was getting sick from synthetic chemicals found in most salon products. I absolutely love New Wash, their cream cleanser, and how it helps to create the perfect hair texture to help with all the gorgeous kicks and flips in your hair that razor cuts are known for. f you're interested, you can sign up through my link here and they will send you a free bag!

Bonus, I occasionally have live Q&A's and exclusives for stylists who have signed up below me!

A little about how I got started, and how teaching and giving back to the community has always been important to me…

Our family didn’t have a lot of money growing up, and I started cutting my own hair as a kid trying to make a fashion statement, developing a knack for face-framing styles. Teaching myself how to cut hair, it lead me to a career as a professional stylist where I worked independently for five years before opening Edo Salon in San Francisco.

Using a straight razor, I earned a reputation for organic, free-hand shags and delicate, face-framing layers, and was fortunate enough to be featured in the New York Times, Forbes, and CNN. Currently, I work as a full time educator, following in the footsteps of my parents who were both teachers. I love the hair community, and I am so excited to be sharing with you my technique of "carving petals" into the hair to create the most romantic layers and face framing bits that I know your client's will love.

I offer a variety of ways for stylists to learn my techniques. My favorite way to teach is in person, on tour. If you’d like to host me at your salon, you can fill out a form here. Occasionally I teach live virtual classes and just recently I’ve launched my Stylist Series - online courses you can take to begin to learn about razor cutting, or to perfect a specific cut or shape. New classes will be released every few weeks, so make sure you’re signed up to my newsletter to get all the updates!
